群芳楼是紫城的有名的舞馆，一到晚上盛况空前。尤其是台柱子齐灵，一支孔雀舞艳压群芳。紫城有名的酒商顾鸣浩慕名前来，在观赏完齐灵的舞姿后，竟然暴毙在群芳楼。探长洪天和钱多多侦察后排除了他杀的可能。但顾家老二顾鸣滔认为顾鸣浩死得蹊跷，认为同是紫城酒商的沈千山和自己三弟顾鸣泊有重大嫌疑。沈千山过寿，包下群芳楼捧施柔做第一舞姬，就在当晚，顾鸣滔被一支孔雀翎射中，也死在了群芳楼。而后不久，齐灵也遭人绑架，命悬一线……经过调查，洪天终于揭开了谜底。凶手是齐灵，但顾鸣浩的的确确是死于心脏病。她的目标只有顾鸣滔，因为四年前，她被醉酒的顾鸣滔……
